Last nights trip was a trip to the fabulous (baby) Sister Act.‘Sister Act is blessed with an insanely talented cast and numerous feel good numbers, it is thanks to this combination that the the show gets away with a lot more than some of its counter parts might. Being stuck at home with covid during this heatwave is not the one however I am so thankful for my garden! In the meantime until I can be in a pub drinking cold aperol spritzers I’m going to throw it back to my trip to Coppa Club. Moulin Rouge is possibly my favourite film ever….combine that with a live musical and to me it has the possibility of a match made in heaven….however whilst the spectacle of the set, costumes and choreography was stunning the characters failed to connect both with the audience and each other.
