Earlier this week thanks to @liberatorfilmservices I got treated to the re-release of Funny Girl! Ten years on, Funny Girl remains a hugely entertaining revival lead by a star turn that fully deserves to be preserved on screen. This beautifully filmed production captures everything that made th original run such a success; the humour, the heartbreak and of course @sheridansmithster herself!

Massive well done to all my friends at @artform_uk for their production of Come From Away at @bobhopetheatreeltham - this show is in my top 3 musicals so had high expectations but you did a great job and it was is such safe hands!

It’s chaotic, camp and deliberately excessive, revelling in its own absurdity while leaning hard into its 80s horror influences. While the sheer volume of songs and relentless pace can blur the edges, there’s an undeniable sense of fun that carries it through. This is not a show for those seeking nuance — but for audiences willing to embrace the madness, it delivers a gleefully unhinged night of theatre.

On Monday night I headed to @rivals_social in Canterbury and had the BEST time! I got to check out the arena, the grid and the food (swipe to the second photo for the pure joy in my face eating the churros!). If you are local to Canterbury I 100% recommend!

By the final curtain, The Ballad of Johnny & June proves itself to be an enjoyable celebration of two hugely influential figures in country music. While the storytelling sometimes feels secondary to the musical performances, there is no denying the quality of the cast or the enduring appeal of the songs themselves.

Last night I was incredibly proud to be part of this concert which focused on performers from a global majority background and embracing what it means to be a theatre kid! Diversity in amateur theatre has a long way to go but last night was just a small snippet of how much talent is there if people genuinely want to do the work.Thank you to @kaiseyelder and @tesh_samuel92 my fellow co-directors for agreeing to take on this show with me and for @jpmrkshlm @lakeisha.louise @steamedbaos @emaemusic @in_the_moment________ @ddubz_99 @cheyonscene @kyannacronshaw for not only their stunning performances but for being a joy to work with! Finally thanks to the audience who supported it!These clips show a small glimpse of the talent from dsm desk for the night -I was calling cues for much of it so couldn’t capture everyone (sorry!)

I headed to the rehearsal room of @seawitchmusical where I got to see the likes of @nataliemayparis, @djavanvande @amydibartolomeo and the rest of this cast doing their thing! The show is on for one night only, 1st March at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and it’s sounding insane already!!

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️ review of The Bodyguard at @newwimbledontheatre is up.
Whilst the emotional arc feels thin this show delivers what many of the audience come for- big vocals, big energy and a reminder of just how well these songs work in a theatrical setting.

@haroldfrymusical understands that grief, love and forgiveness rarely arrive in grand gestures; more often they creep up on us, step by step, mile by mile. I arrived at this show knowing nothing and left feeling everything!
