Last night I was incredibly proud to be part of this concert which focused on performers from a global majority background and embracing what it means to be a theatre kid! Diversity in amateur theatre has a long way to go but last night was just a small snippet of how much talent is there if people genuinely want to do the work.Thank you to Kaisey and Tesh my fellow co-directors for agreeing to take on this show with me and for JP, Lakeisha, Charmaine, Anna, Aimee, Davinia, Chey & Kyanna for not only their stunning performances but for being a joy to work with! Finally thanks to the audience who supported it! These clips show a small glimpse of the talent from dsm desk for the night -I was calling cues for much of it so couldn’t capture everyone (sorry!) ... See MoreSee Less

Last night I was incredibly proud to be part of this concert which focused on performers from a global majority background and embracing what it means to be a theatre kid! Diversity in amateur theatre has a long way to go but last night was just a small snippet of how much talent is there if people genuinely want to do the work.

I headed to the rehearsal room of @seawitchmusical where I got to see the likes of @nataliemayparis, @djavanvande @amydibartolomeo and the rest of this cast doing their thing! The show is on for one night only, 1st March at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and it’s sounding insane already!!

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️ review of The Bodyguard at @newwimbledontheatre is up.
Whilst the emotional arc feels thin this show delivers what many of the audience come for- big vocals, big energy and a reminder of just how well these songs work in a theatrical setting.

@haroldfrymusical understands that grief, love and forgiveness rarely arrive in grand gestures; more often they creep up on us, step by step, mile by mile. I arrived at this show knowing nothing and left feeling everything!

You may leave questioning whether you enjoyed it, but that uneasy aftertaste is very much the point. American Psycho remains a chilling reminder that beneath the surface polish, something rotten can still be smiling back at us.

Last night I headed to Theatre Royal Drury lane to see Jo- The Little Women musical. It feels like a production with undeniable scale and talent, still searching for its point of difference. With refinement, sharper pacing and a clearer sense of why this version of Little Women needs to exist, Jo could yet find its voice.

1. Website in its early days but started getting invites to press nights. This was for ‘Bumblescratch’ (look it up)

3. My love for Rocky Horror (and a leather corset) never fades

From heading back to the Edinburgh Fringe, to discovering new venues, new am dram groups and prioritising accessible performances, this list is all about curiosity, inclusion and joy.

Some are long overdue, some push me out of my comfort zone – all remind me why I love theatre in the first place ❤️

My first show of 2026 is ticked off!! I headed to @bobhopetheatreeltham for the final Panto of the season and to support lots of friends!! So proud of them all!!

Panto is such a good way to introduce children to theatre but the price often prevents it! Please do check out local theatres as you really can’t complain at tickets at £14/£16!!
