Last night I headed to @wakathemusical where we were treated to the show itself in Act 1 and a mini concert by composer @drewgasparini in Act 2!

It’s a work in development so no formal review but some of the songs portrayed really poignant moments! Plus getting to see a cast that included @aimieatkinson, @melanielabarrie , @themeditatingactor @jennaleejames and more on a Monday night was a real treat!

Well now the dust (or glitter) has settled a small reflection on my last directorial outing- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. The shows reception was unexpected but the wonderful message of acceptance shone though! It’s a special show and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to be part of it!

It’s a book that shows lots of promise, with interesting characters that tackles a challenging topic and one that deserves to be highlighted in theatre, yet it is also a show that needs to work on its music if it is determined to remain a musical.

I headed to @sedoslondon production of Violet at @bridewelltheatre .

This was a wonderful chance to see a relatively unknown musical in an intimate venue which is perfect for this show and yet another shining example of how wonderful amateur theatre can be when done right!!!
