Fairgame at Canary Wharf

Fairgame is a fairground for adults that sits in the heart of Canary Wharf and I decide to head there for a big kids afternoon out. Within Fair Game you pay £15 – £17 depending on timing and for that you get 9 games and your ticket gets you 2 goes of each game. When you arrive you get QR code and this lets you track your score of each game against the rest of your friends that your are playing with (ok against).
What Are The Games

There is a big selection of games at Fairgame and they include – alley hoops which is shooting basketballs into the hoop, circus freak which is shooting water to get your clown to reach the top, Gopher broke which is whacking the gophers as they pop up, the final furlong which is rolling your ball into holes to make your horse win the race, pantry pandemonium which is throwing balls at items in the pantry to try to knock them down and more! The games are quick, light hearted and fast paced and not taken too seriously. At the time we were (Friday afternoon) the queuing was minimal and you can play the games in any order. You are given 75 minutes to play the games but with 2 of us it took nowhere near that long but it did mean that there was plenty of time between games to grab another drink. The games were also well thought out that there was space at each game for your drink – loved this attention to detail!
Food and Drink
I would recommend allowing for time either before your game slot or after your game slot to take advantage of the food and drink available here. The cocktail menu is brilliant and really leans into the fairground theme. I started with ‘Helter Skelter’ which is served in a bendy glass with a marshmallow garnish which was £10.75 and also tried the ‘Rocket Man,’ which was garnished with Elton John’s face and was £11.50.

Food wise there is a big selection of street food. There are burgers, pizzas, tacos as well as a candy shop!
Decor
I loved the décor at Fairgame- everything was so bright and fairground themed, with lights, bright colours and quirky items everywhere. It really embraced the inner child feeling of the bar and the attention to detail at the bar really made it stand out. There is also an outdoor area which as we went in February we didn’t utilise but in summer it would be a great addition to the bar!
Conclusion
Fairgame was a really fun afternoon out, from a date night to an evening out with a large group of friends, it would work for both! For central London £15 is a reasonable price for a fun afternoon out. I would 100% go back again and hopefully this time beat my husband!!
